SCOUTING THE OPPONENT: NORTH CAROLINA A&T

With the home opener looming, we figured it would be a great time to go a little deeper with our opponent, North Carolina A&T:

  • Cornerback Karon Prunty has received a slew of preseason recognition, most recently the Urban Edge Plus HBCU + FCS National Player of the Year Award watchlist

  • Last season, A&T’s FBS game against UAB resulted in a 35-6 loss

  • The Aggies finished the 2023 campaign 1-10 with an 0-8 mark in Colonial Athletic Association play

  • Earlier this summer, three current and former North Carolina A&T coaches were placed on the College Football Hall of Fame ballot
